This nib gives a downward stroke of 1.1mm wide, with a side line of 0.32mm.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eGold plated steel 1.5mm calligraphy nib. This nib gives a downward stroke of 1.5mm and a side line of 0.42mm so has the largest line width variation. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLine widths are approximate and will vary with the quality of the paper and the pressure on the nib. Both these nibs  are smooth and\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003eare laser engraved with the CS logo on the nib. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese replacement nibs fit most of the modern Conway Stewart pens, and are supplied fitted into a black nib holder so you can simply unscrew the barrel of your pen and screw the new nib holder in.
